Tor Exit node¶

Blutmagie.de stat page
We currently have one Tor exit node called loki running on ip 130.208.209.45. Ideally I'd like to get another Exit node up and running on the IBM pseries where it can take advantage of the 64bit power4+ processor for speeded openssl operations.
Here's some relevant information for it.¶
- typical tor abuse
- Running a node with minimal harassment
- Tor Guide for Universities
- SWIP Record info
We're in the process of setting up reverse DNS entry and I will pursue the SWIP record.
At some point we may be asked WHY we're running a tor exit node.
Ultimately Devnet is about research and learning. Running a tor exit node allows us to conduct security and privacy research at a fundamental level.
