Gallium¶

Gallium is not a specific machine, it's an IP address and a 24 port switch on top of the RnD server rack.

It uses DHCP to provide any machine connected to it an ip address in the subnet 10.10.10.0/24 of the range 10.10.10.10 - 10.10.10.100.

Port Forwarding¶

In the unlikely event someone needs a port from the public address forwarded to a local address, any port forwards can be added on helium under "Firewall > NAT > Port Forward". Set the "Destination port range" and "Redirect target IP". Leave all other fields unchanged unless you know othervise.

TODO¶

Find a wireless access point to make it simpler to connect to the nat network. Note though that RU IT does not like random wifi networks so it has to be very low power.
