Workshopshops¶

Handicraft Workshop activity stations:

• Scrapbooking
• Origami / Papercraft
• Knitting
• Circuit Sewing
• Pixelart Cross Stitching

Each station leader needs to prepare a BYO (Bring Your Own) list of stuff that guests need to bring to be able to take part in the activity station. Leaders also need to plan for the contingency if guests forget or don't bring that stuff. Obtaining equipment to lend guests. Leaders also should advocate / invite 2-3 core group participants for their station, to take part in the activity and help spread the word.

Scrapbooking¶

BYO list¶

Scrapbooking essentials would be the following:

• Photos - usually what I keep forgetting, but THE most important part of scrapbooking. So remember to develop early! Otherwise it's just awkward to place things.
• Paper - and plenty of it! in all shapes and sizes
• Scissors/exacto-knife - I use precision scissors, but an exacto-knife would do also work with regular scissors.
• Adhesive - I use an adhesive mouse, works like a tippex-mouse but it dispenses glue. They are a bit expensive, but you can later buy refills, which are cheaper. But you should also have regular scotch-tape on hand.
• Plastic covers - so your work doesn't get damaged until you purchase an album.
• Protective mat - a simple plastic IKEA cutting mat works like a charm
• Pens - in a variation of colors (or pencils)

Guests really don't need to bring anything special, except if they want to make origami out of some special paper, like old Maps or Magazine paper.
