3D Printer¶

TVD has two 3D printers for project use. To get things printed, please contact Joseph Timothy Foley <foley AT RU.IS>.

How to get a print done. (See the video at the bottom of this page.)¶

1. Install cubify software (at bottom of page)
2. Export as an STL
3. Load it in cubify software
4. Check to make sure it looks right. Small features and overhangs will not work correctly.
5. Check the printing time. If it is more than 2 hours, we probably can't get it done in the time you have.
6. Send the STL and cube file to the contact
7. Be prepared in case we are unable to print it.
