*We got offer from Seglagerðin Ægir for the release mechanism. Which is two fabrics under and over the balloon with two zip on the top fabric to release the balloon 94440kr with tax, 75251kr with out tax. We are looking for lower price.

h3. Gas selection

According to research listed in the [[Purchasing#Gas|Purchasing]] section, the price of Helium is about twice the price of Hydrogen. Filling a 1200 gr. balloon with Helium (about 5.5m ^3^ costs about 33.000 iskr. Filling the same balloon with Hydrogen costs about 17.000 -  24.000 iskr.

The test flight will have the following electronics

* Camera - A GoPro HDHero2 has been purchased.

* GPS tracker - Currently the "Spot":http://www.findmespot.eu/en/ is the 

* Altimeter - Being a recent addition not much research has been made into this. If launched from Keflavík Airport, the Weather Service can provide us with a radiosonde wich has this function. As well as high altitude GPS tracking up to the "cut down" point. 

** Appears that there are some low cost options

h3. Balloon

The test flight has been scaled down and will use a 1200 gr. balloon. 

h3. Retrieval

I contact the LHG(Coast Guard) and asked them for help to retrive the sword after launch. They were willing to do that, but ongly if the other helicopter companys in Iceland were not intrested to do it, or do not have the equipment to do it, since the sword will maybe land on sea.
