Shared Drive¶

I got IT to create a 2GB shared drive for us to use for large files like pictures, videos, etc. These are things that probably should not be in SVN, unless they are being used to write documentation. SVN should be used for everything else.

The drive is on windows

\\hirftp.hir.is\hopasvaedi$\honnunx2011

On Mac/OSX/Linux:

On Mac, go to Finder and go to the top bar "Go", "Connect to Server"
smb://hirftp.hir.is/hopasvaedi$/honnunx2011

The drive can be seen by anyone, but only written by us. Don't put anything too embarassing there, obviously.
