KiCad is a free software program (similar to Eagle) used to develop circuit designs. It can be used to draw schematics, then turn them into board layouts, and render them in 3D with the right plugin. The software runs on Windows, Linux, and Mac OSX.
Software can be found here http://www.lis.inpg.fr/realise_au_lis/kicad/

The tutorial is in the same directory as the software was installed. On Windows it is usually C:\Program Files (x86)\KiCad\doc\tutorials\en
